Vintage Handpainted Hotta Yu Shoten & Co 1920s Japan Double Handle Vase.
This is a vintage 1920s Hotta Yu Shoten vase with markers mark stamped on the bottom. It has double handles accented in brown paint, with a lovely green and yellow floral design on two sides. Corners are detailed in gray colored basket weave.
There are no chips on the piece, but there is crazing as attributed to the age of the piece and maker, and a hairline crack as noted in photos (almost hidden by crazing). The inside of the vase. has some aged staining from use.
Measures: 5 3/4” tall and 3 1/2” from handle to handle. The top opening is 2” x 1 1/2”.
