    Description

    Vintage Fenton Pink Blossoms Pedestal Egg. Hand Painted and Signed. This is a gorgeous glass pedestal egg made from 1972 - 1986. It is hand painted and signed by Fenton artist Richard.  The pink blossoms are painted on custard colored satin glass. After the artist painted the pink flowers on, the artist went back and painted over it with frit glass. Frit is a ceramic composition that has been fused in a special fusing oven, quenched to form a glass and granulated--the blossoms look sugary. It is 3 3/4" tall and 1 3/4" wide.
