$ 150.47

Availability: 100 in stock
  • Restocking Fee: No
  • Condition: Excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. The iridescence is eye-popping with strong purples near the interior center. There is a very tiny iridescence rub on a raised fruit, but very minor as seen in the close-up photo. The pattern is very well-articulated and detailed. The three fruits stand out lusciously and the stippling effect is amazing in detail. Just another wonderful antique carnival glass item from Northwood.

    This is an outstanding marigold carnival glass plate featuring the pattern
    "STIPPLED THREE FRUITS"
    made by the Harry C. Northwood Glass Company of Wheeling, West Virginia, circa 1911.  The back pattern is "
    Ribbed."
    Excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs.  The iridescence is eye-popping rich with lots of pinks, greens, blues, and purples.  There is a very, very tiny iridescence rub on one of the fruits (please see close-up photo), but the raised fruit are virtually unmarred and stand out with artistic distinction.  The stippled background and the
    Three Fruits
    pattern are very well-articulated and wonderfully detailed. There are the usual internal air bubbles and straw marks (shearing tool marks) commonly associated with the hand manufacturing of old carnival and opalescent glass.  Each piece of old carnival glass is unique, no two are exactly alike.
    A really great find (harder to find with the ribbed back and stippling effect) -- a great gift.
