OLD VINTAGE JAPANESE SIGNED HAND CARVED HARDWOOD NETSUKE MONK w/ SCROLL on FISH

Description

Hand Signed, Hand Carved Japanese Immortal Netsuke of a Scribe or Monk, in Hardwood. It is beautifully detailed. Bearded figure unfurls a scroll as he sits on a large, scaled fish.
Figure is in Very Good to Excellent condition as we believe they were produced in the Mid 20th C. It comes from a collection from a retired USAF Colonel (Surgeon). Signature is on bottom, red on white dot, with additional carving on bottom as well. Great addition to your set of netsukes!
Figure measures 2" Tall X 1 1/8" Wide X 1 3/8" Deep.
