This item in my EBAY store is a NORTHWOOD WHITE CARNIVAL GLASS  "POPPY SHOW"  9 1/4"  PLATE.   This NORTHWOOD white carnival glass "POPPY SHOW" plate is antique glass that has survived well over 100 years of survival and because of age has now become a beautiful family heirloom NORTHWOOD piece of glass that is just the way this American beauty left the "NORTHWOOD GLASS COMPANY" many years ago (over 100 years ago);  This NORTHWOOD white carnival glass "POPPY SHOW" plate is in excellent condition having NO chips, cracks, scratches and NO glass staining;   This "POPPY SHOW" pattern is one of NORTHWOODS premier patterns collected, "white carnival glass" is the hardest of all carnival glass colors to photograph and bring out the IRIDESCENCE we all want to see in our carnival glass, if a piece of carnival has NO good COLOR and IRIDESCENCE it is not going to sell and that is why I have taken numerous photos in the different backgrounds, any questions at all please e-mail me;   This NORTHWOOD white carnival glass "POPPY SHOW" plate is NOT marked with the famous "NORTHWOOD" trade mark, the "N" in a circle with a line underneath the letter "N";   I may add that this NORTHWOOD WHITE CARNIVAL GLASS  "POPPY SHOW"  PLATE is an early NORTHWOOD vintage antique carnival glass "POPPY SHOW" plate that has been used and displayed over many years and still remains in beautiful heirloom condition, surely the couple of people who have once owned this American beauty surely cherished this piece of NORTHWOOD antique glass according to the condition this beautiful NORTHWOOD "POPPY SHOW" plate remains in today;   It did not matter what angle or position I photographed this American beauty the COLOR and IRIDESCENCE is shown in the photos taken, after all that is what carnival glass is all about..............COLOR and IRIDESCENCE, t

I want to mention that this beautiful NORTHWOOD white "POPPY SHOW" plate that I have here does have those early carnival glass era characteristics of the early carnival glass making process having stress marks, straw marks and air bubbles sometimes seen inside the glass of early carnival glass, these characteristics are and can be seen inside the glass of this "POPPY SHOW" plate that I have here, these early era characteristics were done during the production of this NORTHWOOD white "POPPY SHOW" plate and is NOT considered damage, this info I just mentioned to you is all shown in my photos taken but any questions at all please e-mail me;  This NORTHWOOD much sought after "POPPY SHOW" plate is shown and talked about in one of my many reference materials, one is a hard back book by "Edwards & Carwile" a book on carnival glass, the "STANDARD ENCYCLOPEDIA
