This dramatic vintage Meissen porcelain demitasse set is a rare estate find. The set consists of a coffee pot with lid, a sugar bowl with lid, a cream jug, and six cups with six saucers. The pot measures 7-3/4 inches tall to the top of the finial, and is 7 inches from handle to spout. The sugar bowl measures 4-3/4 inches tall to the top of the finial and is 4-1/8 inches in diameter at the opening. The creamer measures 4-3/4 inches tall and is 4-1/2 inches from handle to spout. Each cup measures 2 inches tall and is 3 inches in diameter at the opening. Each saucer measures 5 inches in diameter.
The set is made entirely of very fine delicate porcelain and hand decorated with heavy gold trim. Notice that the spout ends in the head of a dragon, and the flowy gold on the body of the pot becomes the dragon's body, which then repeats itself on the other pieces in the set.
There are two condition issues
. One of the cups is repaired, and the inside rim of the coffee pot is chipped. The pieces are preserved in a small zip lock bag. There are photos of both flaws.  The cup repair required some fillers and gold restoration, and appears to have been two sizeable chips glued back into place.  The set is in otherwise excellent condition with its thick, flowy rococo gold decoration in excellent condition.
All the pieces are marked with the blue underglaze crossed swords used between 1947 and 1973.  There are also overglaze numbers handwritten in gold, some kind of decorator code. and there are numbers stamped into the delicate white porcelain.
