    motor
    isn't
    a fix all for fuel gauges  . Other  things to watch for , bad sending unit , Bad wiring , Bad anti
    slosh
    module ,bad ground ,If your motor has a resistor pack on the bottom of the motor you will  need to gently remove it and
    install
    on the new motor exactly like it was installed on the old motor. If the motor you
    receive
    has a resistor installed you will not need to do
    anything unless the gauge is slightly out of calibration . The resistor is used for calibration . Typically when the F motor goes bad its twitchy .
    This motor will Not work for 991/2 -02  (new body) Model pickups, It uses the  C motor this is a F motor for the older body style.
