    Description

    FENTON VIOLETS IN THE SNOW SILVER CREST TWO-TIERED TIDBIT
    Up for bid is a hard-to-find Violets in the Snow two-tiered tidbit made by the Fenton Art Glass Company.  Fenton made this tidbit from 1968 to 1972, and it was ware number #7294-DV.  This tidbit is made of beautiful Silver Crest glass that has been hand-painted with a lovely violet pattern with green leaf accents.  The bottom plate is approximately 12" in diameter and the top plate is approximately 8 1/2" in diameter.  Silver-tone hardware completes this set so that the tidbit stands about 11" tall when completely put together.  This tidbit is in excellent pre-owned condition although there is a manufacturing mark on the underside of the smaller plate as part of the production process - please see photos.   Add this desirable piece of Fenton history to your glass collection.  Happy bidding!
