Fenton Art Glass OOAK Painted Sunset on Cobalt Cased Milk Glass Vase Kim Barley

Inspired by the impressionistic creations of French painter Claude Monet, Fenton artist Kim Barley designed and hand painted this one-of-a-kind cased glass vase (9.5" tall). Working with a vibrant blend of purple, blue and green hues, Kim created and hand painted a dream-like scenic view that seems endless as it encircles the vase and can be viewed from any angle. The topmost area of the vase is equally striking, as Kim blended subtle red and blue tones to suggest a hazy atmosphere in which the setting sun is wonderfully luminescent. The interior of the vase is rich cobalt blue glass, and the exterior is opaque white glass (called opal) that has been satin finished. This one-of-a-kind hand painted cased glass vase is identified, dated and signed on the underside: "Kim Barley 2021 OOAK".
