Our original lithographic, giclee, and silver halide photos are very popular and affordable to local people and tourists visiting Hawaii, as well as people who have never visited Hawaii. The original print was the 'old style' traditional film based image printed using an enlarger from a copy negative on real photographic paper and archivally processed by hand, not by a machine. Then it was digitally corrected and transferred to the long lasting lithographic process. Prices are less than you would pay retail at a gallery or custom photo lab for a black and white print and production costs are lower than most folks so we want to offer affordable quality art for people who might not otherwise be able to afford it.

e-Bay's transfer process and the computer screen makes the photo look contrasty and slightly darker or lighter, depending on your monitor brightness and contrast settings. You may be able to see small imperfections on larger images . We do however crop and correct them so they look best. It is printed on 8x10 inch paper and margins may be slightly trimmed.
**When it is attached to the single mat 8x10 inch backing board you will be able to see the backing board around the borders of the print. It makes the print look like there is a white margin around the edges of the photo which you can see here, which is part of the print, it is not a mat board cutout

Prints are permanently mounted to the acid free backing board using an archival photo adhesive and cannot easily be removed from the backing board without damaging the photo. An 11x14 inch frame (or larger) with a custom cut mat from a frame shop or art store is the suggested way to display this photo. If you want to use a larger frame and mat and you can't find an experienced framer who knows how to do it, contact us and we can provide information explaining how it can be done. This is recommended for best visual and artistic impact in displaying this photo, although many people are happy using a standard 8x10" frame and displaying the image as is. We also have a few 11x14's unmounted of this print also, please inquire.
