The reverse features an original work by renowned Canadian artist Carlito Dalceggio entitled “Harmony.” A nonlinear myth-scape refracted through Dalceggio’s powerful intuitive artistry, this design incorporates the artist’s recurrent exploration of the transcendent nature of the act of painting as part of a quest for universal patterns and a journey into an inner “labyrinth of dreams and visions” to which the painting becomes a point of entry. In this work as in others, Dalceggio’s creative subjects include the elements of modern life, a pantheon of global mythologies and his considerable skill for poetic deconstruction.
