Antique Meissen Porcelain Pair of Sweetmeat Dishes

Description

Beautiful late 19th early 20th c pair of Sweetmeat dishes.  12 1/2” long. In overall good condition with some loss. The male underside is with crossed swords and a crescent. #2863 enscised on bottom with #20 painted in gold .  The male does have a nick to his right coattail and right arm ruffle.  Some loss to the underside encrusted flowers and leaves.   The female figure is inscised # 28.58. With crossed swords.  The female has loss to her back ribbon. There is some loss to the underside encrusted flowers and leaves on the underside.  They are a beautiful and colorful pair in overall good condition
