    Description

    This could have been a serving bowl our soup tureen. Obviously it was worth saving.....its a wonderful example with great butterflies and birds etc. Just the staple repair to the handle and lid as shown.. Actually this is solid measuring about 13 1/4" handle to handle, the top of the lid's finial is about 7 1/4". The bowl itself is about 10 3/4" diameter. Anyhow.....I think it is great even this way. I am guessing this is about 160 years old.....maybe a little more?
